Role overview
An AI and data consultancy based in Singapore is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support major transformation work for banking and financial services clients across APAC. The company works with leading institutions on large-scale programmes covering modernisation, data, artificial intelligence, and generative AI. It also operates as an AWS-exclusive partner, helping organisations upgrade banking operations through consulting and technology-led delivery.
What you will do
- Partner with senior stakeholders in banking to identify core business issues and transformation priorities.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Contribute to enterprise transformation initiatives across institutional banking areas.
- Work alongside consulting, product, and engineering teams to support end-to-end delivery.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes, automate work, and strengthen operations.
- Assist with user acceptance testing, business validation, and change management activities during delivery.
- Develop executive presentations, reports, and other business-facing documentation.
What the role requires
- At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or transformation professional in banking or financial services.
- Strong background in institutional banking domains such as corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury, lending, capital markets, risk and compliance, trade finance, or banking operations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large banking transformation or enterprise change programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work with senior business and technology leaders.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, business process documentation, and functional specification writing.
- Ability to act as the link between business teams and technology teams in complex transformation environments.
- Well-developed analytical ability, communication skills, and problem-solving capability.
- Consulting experience is considered an advantage.
- Exposure to digital transformation, AI, workflow automation, or data modernisation work will be useful.
Compensation
The role offers a salary of up to SGD 12,000 per month, depending on experience.
Location and work arrangement
The position is based in Singapore and follows a hybrid work arrangement.
