Role overview
A leading security integration business is hiring a Security Technician to join a close-knit team in Brisbane. This position suits someone with solid hands-on experience in the security sector, strong technical capability, and a genuine customer-first approach. The role also offers the possibility of moving into a management position in the future.
What you'll be doing
- Installing, commissioning, and programming advanced access control and CCTV solutions, including systems such as Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone, and Genetec.
- Supporting more complex technical issues across high-end access control environments.
- Working directly with key clients on technical questions and support matters.
- Collaborating with the wider team to respond to service call-outs when needed.
- Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
What we're looking for
- Background in high-end electronic security, with access control experience preferred.
- Ability to configure and program a range of premium access control, CCTV, and video management systems, such as Gallagher, Integriti, Genetec, and Milestone.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking.
- Current Australian Security Licence and Cabling Licence.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong eye for detail.
- Experience with IP cameras, VMS platforms, and networked security systems; Genetec and Milestone experience would be an advantage.
- Valid driver's licence.
