Role Overview
The Security Officer will play an important role in maintaining safety and security across the hospital. The position involves patrols, incident response, equipment checks, hazard escalation, support for investigations, and assistance with security-related exercises and hospital procedures.
Key Duties
- Inspect security equipment before and after each shift, and carry out checks during routine patrols.
- Respond promptly to incidents, travel to the location immediately, and assist staff as needed.
- Look into reported cases and conduct interviews with the relevant individuals.
- Identify fire-safety risks and raise any hazards without delay.
- Support mortuary transfer processes within the hospital.
- Take part in security drills and exercises.
- Handle any additional tasks assigned by the reporting officer.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of GCE ‘N’ Level.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Prepared to work rotating 2-shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
- Open to overtime work when needed to cover staffing gaps.
- Must hold a valid security licence registered with the Police Regulatory Department (PRD).
Work Conditions
This is an onsite role in Singapore. The position is offered on a contract basis, and the job title also indicates a regular/contract arrangement.
