Sanitation Operator

About the Role

Since 1937, Krispy Kreme has been known for serving fresh doughnuts made with the founder’s original recipe. The brand’s well-known Hot Light signals when fresh doughnuts are coming off the line, inviting guests to enjoy them warm. In this role, you will help maintain a spotless, welcoming shop environment for customers by keeping both the store and the surrounding property clean and sanitary.

What You’ll Do

• Clean the indoor and outdoor areas of the store, including all required spaces.
• Vacuum or sweep all designated areas inside and outside the shop.
• Mop the required areas within the store.
• Wash shop windows and spray down the parking lot as needed.
• Sanitize and replenish the bathrooms.
• Keep the guest area neat, including tables and chairs.
• Organize and maintain stockroom supplies in an orderly way.

What You Need

• No prior work experience is required.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• You should support a workplace culture that is fair, inclusive, and welcoming to individual differences.

Physical Work Conditions

• This job may require lifting and moving objects with force up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously.
• You may work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• The shop environment can involve changing temperatures and noise levels.
• You may be exposed to allergens, including nuts.
• You may also work around noise from production or processing areas.
