Salesforce Developer (Tech Lead)

Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Salesforce Developer in a Tech Lead capacity for its Chennai location. This position is intended for professionals with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience and is open only for candidates based in Chennai.

Core Requirements

• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and key development tools and frameworks such as Visualforce, Aura, SOQL, Apex classes, triggers, jQuery, APIs, flows, approval processes, Batch Apex, and Apex scheduling.
• Ability to write maintainable code in line with Salesforce development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning components, LWC, the Lightning framework, Lightning Design System, Lightning Data Service, and Lightning Locker Service.
• Experience building Salesforce integrations through REST and SOAP APIs, with awareness of both inbound and outbound communication patterns.
• Track record of integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using web services, including Apex REST and SOAP services.
• Working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to AngularJS-based user interfaces within Salesforce Visualforce pages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows through Git.
• Salesforce certifications such as ADM201, Advanced Admin, PD1, PD2, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud are preferred.
