Role overview
This position is for a Sales Executive within Nasdaq FinTech, reporting to the VP of Sales for the Middle East & Africa. The role is centered on winning new customers for the AxiomSL business across the Middle East, with a strong focus on presenting and selling Nasdaq’s full suite of AxiomSL solutions.
Success in this role calls for excellent communication skills, confidence in selling into financial and capital markets, a global outlook, and genuine enthusiasm for technology and innovation in a dynamic, high-impact setting.
Key responsibilities
- Drive acquisition of new enterprise customers for Nasdaq AxiomSL by reaching out to banks, regulators, and financial institutions throughout the Middle East using a consultative sales style.
- Discuss clients’ regulatory reporting, risk, and data-related needs and position Nasdaq AxiomSL as a strategic, business-critical solution.
- Own the complete enterprise sales process, including prospect targeting, qualification, commercial discussions, and contract finalization.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in compliance, risk, finance, and technology while managing complex buying processes.
- Work closely with Nasdaq teams in pre-sales, product, marketing, and other functions to shape persuasive value propositions and support deal closure.
Required background
- Proven experience as a sales professional with knowledge of the end-to-end sales cycle and a track record of delivering progressive sales initiatives.
- Strong capability in relationship management, stakeholder coordination, and detailed follow-through.
- Well-organized, energetic, and self-driven, with the ability to keep projects moving independently.
- Comfortable working in capital markets and regulatory or compliance-focused environments, with hands-on proficiency in Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, several years of relevant confirmed experience, strong English communication skills, and readiness to travel from time to time.
Work location and arrangement
The role is based in Dubai and follows a hybrid setup, with at least three in-office days each week. This arrangement may change over time and is intended to support flexibility for eligible candidates.
Compensation and benefits
