Role Overview

This position is different from a conventional SDR role. Instead of high-volume, generic outreach, the focus is on thoughtful enterprise selling to highly sophisticated buyers in private equity, consulting, venture capital, and investment banking. The role is centered on identifying opportunities, building relationships, creating demand, and opening doors in high-value accounts.

The selected person will work closely with founders, Account Executives, and GTM leadership to support Junior's next growth phase. The ideal candidate is curious, competitive, highly structured, and persistent, with a strong interest in becoming a top-performing enterprise seller and, over time, an Account Executive.

What You Will Do

  • Research and prioritize target accounts in private equity, consulting, venture capital, and related financial services sectors.
  • Design personalized outbound sequences using email, LinkedIn, events, and other channels.
  • Map accounts, identify decision makers and stakeholders, and create messaging tailored to investment professionals.
  • Produce qualified meetings and create pipeline opportunities consistently.
  • Build a deep understanding of the ideal customer profile and buyer personas.
  • Track market activity, hiring patterns, fund launches, portfolio movements, and other buying signals.
  • Use tools such as Clay, LinkedIn, Attio, Superhuman, and AI products to identify prospects and opportunities.
  • Improve targeting and prospecting methods on an ongoing basis.
  • Own early-stage pipeline creation and top-of-funnel activity.
  • Qualify opportunities and hand them off cleanly to Account Executives.
  • Maintain strong CRM accuracy and detailed account notes.
  • Measure outreach results and refine the approach quickly.
  • Support conferences, executive dinners, and client/community events.
  • Develop relationships with attendees before and after events.
  • Help generate meetings and opportunities through the company's community presence.
  • Contribute to experiments with messaging, channels, and outbound tactics.
