Role overview
Tilson Homes is hiring an experienced Residential Drafter to support custom home projects built on customers’ own land. This position focuses on creating and refining residential construction drawings, using Revit and a working understanding of residential building codes.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and update Revit drawings for new home construction work.
- Move quickly while maintaining a high level of precision and design quality.
- Coordinate with sales staff during the plan-change stage and communicate updates clearly.
- Build production drawing details from sketches or spoken direction.
- Bring survey data into site plans.
- Contribute effectively as part of a project team.
Requirements
The preferred background includes one of the following: a four-year related degree plus at least 1 year of AutoCAD/Revit experience; an associate degree or technical trade school completion in AutoCAD/Revit, drafting, or a related area plus at least 2 years of AutoCAD/Revit experience; or 3+ years of AutoCAD/Revit experience without a formal degree.
