Role overview

In this role, you will handle quantity surveying and commercial oversight for a range of projects from contract award until handover. You will also act as a commercial and contractual advisor to the Sales and Projects teams, helping secure strong financial results while managing commercial exposure.

You will be responsible for maintaining the movement of information tied to sales, proposals, and internal accounting. The role also involves tracking sales activity, updating key milestones in the opportunity management system, preparing performance reports, reviewing monthly financial outcomes, and supporting lead-generation campaigns as well as marketing plan execution.

Key responsibilities

• Take charge of project contracts and accounts across multiple assignments, with tight control over variations and final account settlements.
• Support negotiations and carry out corrective actions whenever needed to keep work aligned with budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Manage change control, spot potential claim opportunities, and ensure contract administration is carried out accurately.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to apply effective practices and drive successful project delivery.

What the employer is looking for

• A degree is required, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in BMS/ELV projects, which is considered an added advantage.
• Strong capability in commercial management and financial risk control.
• Demonstrated success in handling and completing large commercial projects.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels within an organization.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audiences.
• Strong judgement, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
