About the role
The Wealth & Trading team focuses on reshaping investing through data-led products that support better financial decisions for users around the world. This role is for a Quant Research Analyst who will help build automated investment recommendation systems and develop active multi-asset strategies.
The position calls for strong experience in corporate finance and fundamental analysis, with the goal of creating models that reflect the work of high-performing research analysts. The role sits at the intersection of quantitative research, investment analysis, product design, and regulatory awareness.
Key responsibilities
- Build and improve automated analysis systems across multiple asset classes using fundamental research methods.
- Work closely with software engineers to create, test, and enhance algorithms that produce dependable investment recommendations.
- Use hypothesis testing and backtesting to check model quality and performance.
- Incorporate macroeconomic developments and sector-level context into the recommendation engine so the output is more relevant and informative.
- Design multi-asset investment strategies using quantitative approaches.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to present recommendations in a clear, transparent, and user-friendly way inside the app.
- Make sure all outputs and processes follow regulations related to investment advice and financial promotions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in quantitative investment research, ideally across equity or fixed income, with the ability to compare and generalise across sectors and markets.
- Strong command of quantitative and statistical tools used in systematic investing.
- Ability to read financial statements, analyse valuation multiples, and form well-reasoned investment theses.
- Academic background in a STEM discipline.
Nice to have
- Background in manager selection, systematic bond portfolio construction, long-short strategy design, tactical asset allocation, or portfolio construction.
- CFA qualification, or substantial progress toward earning it.
