Overview
Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is hiring a dependable and proactive Quality Technician to support its Castlebar, County Mayo site. This role is based on a night roster and focuses on keeping quality standards consistent across production, documentation, inspection, and audit readiness.
Working Pattern
The position follows a night shift schedule: Sunday from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, and Monday to Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality control processes and confirm that all required production checks are completed.
- Support both internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for site quality systems.
- Help onboard and train new team members across quality-related activities.
- Perform final product checks and approve jobs for dispatch.
- Ensure work meets customer requirements, supplier expectations, and applicable audit standards.
Requirements
- Careful, detail-focused approach with good organisation skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities.
- Understanding of sound documentation practices.
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office tools.
- Able to organise priorities and manage workload effectively.
- Capable of working collaboratively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- A qualification in Quality Assurance is preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is desirable, though not mandatory.
