Role summary
This full-time, on-site position is based in the KRG Region and is responsible for making sure operational activities meet required quality standards and regulatory expectations. The QA/QC and Training Officer will review processes, identify gaps, and help teams improve performance through audits, training, and standard operating procedures.
Key duties
Daily work includes carrying out inspections and audits, recording findings, and suggesting corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves preparing and delivering training on products and services, onboarding new employees, and arranging refresher sessions so teams maintain consistent performance. In addition, the officer will compile reports, study service performance data, work with supervisors to resolve quality concerns, and support the rollout of operating procedures. Close cooperation with different teams is essential to strengthen continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have a solid grasp of QMS and ISO 9001:2015, along with the related documentation requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, including reviewing data, spotting trends, and proposing practical solutions. Experience in training and development is important, especially in planning and delivering structured sessions and workshops. Prior involvement in employee training, coaching, and onboarding is also needed. Strong communication skills are required to explain procedures clearly and give useful feedback. Background in quality assurance or quality control is expected, together with familiarity with SOPs, audit procedures, and basic reporting tools.
Preferred background
A vocational qualification, certification, or degree in business, logistics, quality management, or a related field is preferred. The role requires the ability to work on-site in the KRG Region, manage time well, and collaborate effectively with varied teams.
Language requirements
English and Kurdish.
