QA Civil Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Civil Engineer to support quality assurance across civil construction work in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on verifying that site activities, materials, and documentation align with project specifications, client expectations, and applicable quality standards throughout the full project cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Track civil construction progress and verify that quality requirements are being met at every stage of the project.
• Examine drawings, specifications, and other technical records to confirm compliance with project and client requirements.
• Carry out inspections for concrete work, structural components, foundations, and other civil installations.
• Compile, update, and organize inspection logs, quality documentation, and related project records.
• Work closely with project managers, consultants, and site personnel to address and close out quality issues.
• Check that materials and site activities follow approved standards and project specifications.
• Support quality audits and help drive ongoing improvement efforts across project sites.
• Contribute to final inspections and handover-related activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification, is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of QA/QC processes, civil construction quality benchmarks, and engineering practices is needed.
• Hands-on experience with inspection work, compliance tracking, and quality-related documentation is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication, coordination, and issue-resolution skills are important.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and engineering document management systems is required.
• The candidate should be comfortable performing in a fast-moving, collaborative project setting.
