Role Overview

This position offers the chance to own an important bridge between strategy and delivery, helping turn promising opportunities into successful wins. The role suits someone who can guide work from early pursuit thinking through to polished, client-ready proposals, while balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution.

You will work across the full opportunity lifecycle, contributing to pursuit planning, shaping win strategies, and leading proposal development. The role calls for someone who can bring order to complexity, collaborate across disciplines, and help ensure submissions are clear, persuasive, compliant, and on time.

Pursuit Phase

• Assist with planning and coordination for priority pursuits.
• Partner with internal teams to develop early win themes, value propositions, and pursuit strategy.
• Run or support workshops, strategy sessions, and planning discussions.
• Strengthen client alignment by using client needs and insights to shape approach.

Proposal Phase

• Own the proposal process end to end, from initial kickoff to final submission.
• Facilitate kickoffs, regular check-ins, storyboard reviews, and other proposal meetings.
• Convert capture and pursuit insights into focused, compelling submissions.
• Maintain compliance with governance requirements, quality expectations, and deadlines.
• Ensure submissions are consistent, accurate, and high-impact.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in pursuits and proposals, preferably within professional services or a B2B environment. You should be comfortable shaping pursuit strategy, managing complex bids, and guiding multidisciplinary contributors through a structured process.

Strong written communication is essential, along with the ability to tell a clear and persuasive story. You’ll also need excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills, plus a collaborative approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
