Role Overview
The organization is seeking a Project Controls / Planning Lead on a permanent basis to support a range of life sciences projects. The role is centered on building and managing project schedules, coordinating across functions, and keeping delivery on track for engineering and capital works in GMP-regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and revise integrated project schedules in Primavera P6 for pharmaceutical engineering and capital projects.
- Work closely with engineering, production, quality, validation, procurement, and external contractors to keep milestones and deliverables moving as planned.
- Track progress, analyze schedules, identify critical path tasks, and develop recovery actions when timelines slip.
- Produce baseline plans, periodic progress updates, short-term look-ahead schedules, and earned value/performance reports for leadership.
- Monitor resource allocation, procurement activity, and material readiness to support smooth project execution.
- Contribute to equipment installation, commissioning, qualification activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ, shutdown planning, and facility upgrade initiatives.
- Make sure planning work aligns with GMP expectations, regulatory obligations, and internal quality and safety standards.
- Help improve planning workflows, scheduling methods, and Primavera P6 reporting to strengthen project outcomes.
