About the Company
Ernie Events is an energetic events business focused on corporate functions, brand activations, exhibitions, and product launches. The team turns ambitious concepts into well-executed experiences and is now seeking a seasoned Project Manager to own event delivery and support continued growth.
Role Overview
In this position, you will oversee events from the first client brief through to on-site delivery and final wrap-up. You will work within a collaborative team and report to the Senior Project Manager, acting as the main contact for clients and internal teams while making sure each project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple events at the same time, maintaining control from briefing through post-event reconciliation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the central contact and ensuring expectations are understood and met throughout each stage.
Create and oversee detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and run sheets to keep delivery organised and on track.
Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and contractors to ensure event logistics run smoothly.
Identify potential risks early and put practical solutions in place to protect timelines and outcomes.
Work closely with internal teams to stay aligned on priorities, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Help improve internal processes and contribute to better ways of working across the business.
Work Arrangement and Conditions
This is a full-time, office-based role in Mornington, Victoria. Standard working days are Monday to Friday. During event periods, occasional after-hours and weekend work will be necessary. From time to time, interstate travel may also be part of the job. A part-time arrangement may be considered for the right person.
