Role overview
As a Product Security Architect, you will shape how security is built into Paysafe’s products and technology landscape. The role focuses on aligning security architecture with business and product goals, designing protections for systems, applications, and networks, and ensuring security measures suit the regulatory environment in which the business operates.
What you will do
- Ensure information security architecture supports the wider business and product direction, with security controls built directly into Paysafe’s products.
- Design secure architectures for applications, infrastructure, and networks to reduce exposure to cyber threats across different regulatory settings.
- Own security architecture and design work for the organization’s security infrastructure, including transition approaches, packaged solutions, and roadmap planning.
- Contribute to the secure development of software, networks, and processes.
- Carry out risk assessments to uncover control gaps and organizational risks, then recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Work closely with teams across Information Security Enterprise Architecture, Information Security Risk & Compliance, Engineering, and the Global InfoSec organization to embed security requirements and risk treatments into design decisions.
- Track new threats, security trends, and technology developments, updating architecture as needed in partnership with Enterprise Security Architecture.
What you need
- A strong foundation in security architecture, with deep technical understanding of infrastructure security, application security, and automation.
- Hands-on experience applying cyber and information security principles during software and system design.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks such as PCI, DORA, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to turn complex information into clear reports and actionable insight.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong working relationships across all levels.
- Understanding of the online payments industry and sound business judgment when addressing security concerns.
- Professional security qualifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CSSLP, or CISSP, or active progress toward one of these certifications.
