Job Summary
The Product Designer role is a practical, hands-on position focused on shaping clear, user-friendly digital experiences for Porter’s products. Working as part of a cross-functional squad, the designer contributes throughout discovery, creates flows and prototypes, and crafts interfaces that are grounded in feedback and data. The work is iterative and tied to business and product outcomes such as adoption, conversion, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product discovery with Product Owners and Researchers by bringing forward observations on user needs and opportunity areas.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to clearly express design ideas.
- Create polished user interfaces for digital products while keeping the experience consistent and engaging.
- Partner with teams across functions to shape solutions that are practical and easy to use.
- Use user feedback and analytics to inform and refine design decisions.
- Work in an iterative way with squads so that solutions stay aligned with product KPIs such as adoption, conversion, and NPS.
- Continuously improve designs based on stakeholder input, user testing, and evolving business needs.
- Help build and maintain a design system or component library.
- Share design work with colleagues and stakeholders and gather input for improvement.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in product design or UX/UI design is expected.
- Solid working knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of product design work.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bonus experience includes familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML and CSS, or an understanding of agile delivery practices.
