Produce Stocker

Role overview

As a Produce Stocker with Walmart Canada, you’ll help keep the produce department in strong working order while delivering helpful, friendly service to customers. The role is centered on organizing the department, maintaining product presentation, supporting stock movement, and following retail, food safety, and store standards.

Key duties

• Keep the produce section organized and well presented.
• Check stock levels, move older inventory forward, and remove expired items.
• Make sure products are correctly labelled, priced, and displayed.
• Follow cold-chain requirements, including thermometer checks, temperature logs, and compliant handling of perishable goods.
• Use proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning practices at all times.
• Carry out ordering-related tasks and handle clearance, markdowns, markups, and signage/label changes as required.
• Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for customers and daily business.
• Follow health and safety rules throughout the shift.
• Restock and downstock merchandise when needed, apply product protection when necessary, and help complete modular sets, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Pay

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.30.

Minimum qualifications
