Pricing Analyst

Role overview

Automatiq is hiring a Pricing Analyst to support its Full Service Pricing team. In this role, you will use pricing knowledge and market insight to evaluate ticket inventory across a range of events through the company’s dynamic pricing platform, Uptick. You will also serve as a key contact for clients and work closely with internal leaders, reporting to the Pricing Manager and indirectly to the Sr. Director of Full Service Pricing.

Responsibilities

• Review live market signals, historical trends, and inventory data to help set effective pricing for clients using Automatiq’s software.
• Carry out in-depth market analysis to develop strategic pricing guidance.
• Stay in regular contact with clients to discuss strategy, preferences, and overall account results.
• Partner with the business intelligence and software development teams to help improve product performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in an analytical or pricing-focused role.
• Solid financial, mathematical, and analytical capability.
• Knowledge of sports and entertainment is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a commitment to strong customer service.
• Experience in ticketing or hands-on use of the Uptick platform is an advantage.
• Must be available on occasion for non-standard hours and weekend work.
• This is a fully remote position, but candidates must work on Eastern Time.
