Plant Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

The organization is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer for its Al Rayyan, Qatar location. The position focuses on keeping equipment and machinery running smoothly through a mix of preventive care, corrective repairs, analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance as well as corrective repairs to support dependable equipment performance.
• Investigate faults, identify root causes, and put maintenance actions in place to reduce stoppages and service interruptions.
• Review operational data to spot patterns, understand recurring issues, and recommend improvements that strengthen reliability and performance.
• Work closely with production teams, managers, and suppliers to plan and execute maintenance activities aligned with business priorities.
• Make sure maintenance work follows safety rules and regulations, while recognizing and addressing possible hazards.
• Prepare and keep up-to-date technical records, drawings, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Take part in training and development activities to continuously improve technical capability.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is needed.
• Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals and familiarity with equipment and machinery are important.
• Strong analytical ability is needed to assess information, diagnose issues, and develop practical solutions.
