Role overview
This position is for a driven Petroleum Engineer who can contribute to reservoir and drilling activities while helping introduce improved processes and modern technologies. It is open to fresh graduates as well as professionals with up to 10 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another closely related engineering field is required.
- Holding an SPE certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Candidates should have 0 to 10 years of experience in Reservoir Engineering, with exposure to one or more of the following areas:
- Drilling Engineering
- Geosteering
- Coiled Tubing Operations
- Petrophysical Logging
Preferred skills
- Working knowledge of reservoir engineering fundamentals.
- Basic familiarity with drilling and well operations.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Open to adopting new technologies and process enhancements for UBCTD operations.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and support operational needs on a 24/7 basis when required.
- Collaborative mindset with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Work setting
This is an onsite role based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia.
