Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Sharjah for a Pest Control Technician. The selected candidate will visit client locations to assess pest issues, trace infestation sources, and identify vulnerable areas. The job involves carrying out treatments with approved pesticides, placing traps and monitoring devices, and operating equipment safely in line with regulatory and company standards. The technician will also prepare service reports, keep detailed records, and explain treatment steps, safety measures, and next actions to customers. Daily responsibilities include following company procedures, keeping tools and vehicles in proper condition, and working closely with the operations team to ensure prompt and efficient service.

Key Duties

• Inspect customer sites to detect pest activity, infestation causes, and potential risk points.
• Apply approved pest control treatments and pesticides using the correct methods and safety practices.
• Install traps, monitoring tools, and related devices as required for each service assignment.
• Complete accurate service documentation and maintain organized records of work performed.
• Explain treatment plans, precautions, and follow-up advice clearly to clients.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental rules during all field operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned vehicles in good working condition.
• Coordinate with the operations team to support timely service completion.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of pest identification, infestation evaluation, and safe treatment application.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to pest control work.
• Ability to understand service instructions, prepare clear reports, and communicate professionally with clients and coworkers.
• Physical fitness to work in different settings, including indoor, outdoor, and confined areas, and to lift and handle equipment when needed.
• A valid UAE driving license, or the ability to travel to multiple client locations as required.
• Prior experience in pest control, facilities services, or another technical field is beneficial.
• Relevant pest control certification, or readiness to complete company-supported training and obtain necessary licensing.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently while following schedules and company procedures.
