Job summary

This position is for a seasoned payroll professional who can manage payroll operations across several GCC markets. The core objective is to make sure employee pay is processed accurately, on time, and in line with local rules, while also improving consistency and efficiency across countries and business entities.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle the complete payroll process across GCC countries from start to finish.
  • Apply the correct labor, tax, social insurance, and end-of-service requirements for each country involved.
  • Gather monthly payroll inputs from multiple entities and ensure salaries are released on schedule.
  • Check and confirm variable pay items such as commissions, overtime, bonuses or incentives, and deductions.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and local service providers to fix payroll issues and maintain accurate employee data.
  • Take care of required filings and submissions with authorities such as GOSI, WPS, MOHRE, SIO, and LMRA, while keeping statutory compliance in order.
  • Administer expatriate payroll matters, including allowances, relocation support, and cross-border transfers.
  • Build regional payroll reports, analysis, and cost summaries for management.
  • Drive automation and standardization efforts to improve payroll processes across the GCC region.
  • Guide and support payroll officers in different countries and ensure group policies are followed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is needed.
  • At least 2 years of payroll experience is required.
  • Prior exposure to payroll administration across GCC countries is essential.
  • Strong understanding of regional labor regulations and social insurance systems, including GOSI, WPS, SIO, LMRA, and MOHRE.
  • Very good English communication skills; Arabic is considered an added advantage.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and payroll/HR platforms such as SAP, Oracle, MenaME, or equivalent systems.
