Role overview
This position is for a Payroll Specialist based in Hyderabad, working from the office all five days a week. The role is part of a fast-moving payroll operations environment and involves supporting weekly, monthly, and ad hoc payroll processing for ANZ.
Key responsibilities
- Run payroll operations using vendor payroll software and support the overall payroll workflow.
- Check payroll data for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Handle deductions and legal orders such as garnishments, child support, levies, and liens.
- Review timesheet inputs and ensure employee records are processed correctly.
- Prepare manual cheque calculations, coordinate stop payments and reversals with the vendor, add paycheck card entries, and assist with cheque distribution when required.
- Provide backup support to other payroll analysts and respond promptly to employee payroll queries.
Experience needed
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of prior US payroll experience.
Work schedule and conditions
- This is a five-day work-from-office role in Hyderabad.
- Cab facility is available only for drop.
- The candidate must be flexible for shifts, with most shifts likely to be night shifts.
- In-person interviews are mandatory.
