This position is for a Payroll Specialist in Abu Dhabi with a technology and data analytics employer. What you will do
- Run and continuously improve payroll processes so employee payments, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and tax-related entries are completed accurately and on time.
- Process payroll changes promptly, including onboarding updates, exits, and adjustments to compensation.
- Maintain precise payroll records and prepare related reports.
- Support compliance with payroll, wage, and hour regulations at federal, state, and local levels, along with accepted payroll practices.
- Assist with internal and external audits by organizing and sharing the required records and documentation.
- Recommend improvements to payroll software, systems, and procedures when needed.
- Evaluate payroll handling options for other operating regions or jurisdictions as the business expands.
- Document new or improved policies, procedures, and working practices.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
