Overview
A vacancy is open in the Packing Department at Epping oats, where Bokomo Oats is looking for suitable candidates to join the team. The role will report directly to the Manufacturing Co-ordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect the printer to make sure it is operating properly.
- Check that packed goods are presented neatly and correctly.
- Review pallet condition before it is put into use.
- Weigh bags and record the figures manually.
- Confirm that the correct product barcode is being applied.
- Make sure barcoded products are wrapped neatly.
- Ensure stacked pallets are aligned, tidy, and straight.
- Check that wrapped products remain intact and undamaged.
Qualifications
- A minimum of NQF 4, Grade 12, or an equivalent relevant qualification is required.
- Applicants should have 12 months of experience in a similar work environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards is needed.
Additional information
This position is for three openings in the packing function. The role is site-based in Epping, Western Cape, South Africa, and is a full-time onsite opportunity.
