About the Role
This position is suited to a practical technical specialist who is committed to ensuring that equipment remains safe, dependable, and ready for immediate use.
The selected candidate will support the upkeep and service readiness of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) across line maintenance facilities.
The role requires completion of scheduled servicing, corrective repairs, and defect resolution in a safe and efficient manner, while following company standards, manufacturer guidance, and aviation rules.
You will help maintain the availability and performance of key equipment that enables daily aircraft operations.
Monitoring the condition and operation of motorized, non-motorized, and battery-operated equipment will be an important part of the job, along with identifying and resolving defects quickly.
The role also includes overseeing the availability of tools, equipment, and facilities, tracking the use of materials and resources, preparing maintenance-related reports, and contributing to workshop efficiency improvements.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring calibrated tools, gauges, spare parts, and components are handled and routed correctly, while supporting high standards for aircraft-attached equipment and overall facility presentation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, corrective maintenance, and defect rectification for GSE in line with safety, company, manufacturer, and aviation requirements.
- Support the reliability and readiness of maintenance equipment used in aircraft operations.
- Inspect the condition and performance of motorized, non-motorized, and battery-powered equipment and act quickly on any issues found.
- Manage the availability of tooling, equipment, and workshop/facility resources.
- Record the usage of materials, tools, and resources accurately.
- Prepare maintenance reports and support continuous improvements in workshop efficiency.
- Ensure calibrated tools, gauges, spares, and components are properly controlled and directed.
- Maintain high standards for aircraft-attached equipment and the appearance of facilities.
Requirements
- Diploma qualification or an equivalent credential.
- At least 3 years of experience in GSE maintenance equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well with Maintenance Duty Managers and line maintenance teams.
- Professional attitude and a solid work ethic.
