Role Overview
Sagicor Finance Inc. is seeking an Office Attendant & Courier to support administrative operations and provide reliable transport services. Reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager, this role is focused on delivering a professional, helpful experience for both internal teams and external visitors while upholding the company’s standards.
Administrative Support
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail by sorting, stamping, delivering, and collecting items from different businesses and the Post Office.
- Receive, log, and circulate daily mail addressed to the Sales & Operations Manager.
- Keep archive files organized so records can be found quickly when needed.
- Support document retrieval from archives under dual control when requested.
- Help identify and prepare outdated documents or records for destruction.
- Purchase stationery, canteen, and janitorial supplies, and monitor stock levels so items are replenished before running low.
- Set up conference rooms for meetings and training sessions, and prepare meeting spaces for off-site engagements.
- Assist with office and external marketing event setup, including feather banners, tents, and furniture, and help dismantle the setup afterward.
- Help move furniture, equipment, and other property around the office as required.
- Support premises security during opening hours.
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately with support from the front office team.
- Help the team meet service standards and performance metrics.
- Protect the confidentiality of all sensitive documents, conversations, and business information.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by SFI management and follow all company policies and procedures.
Courier Services
- Transport visitors to the office when needed.
- Safely carry staff and deliver or collect packages across various locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading staff luggage when required.
- Modify travel routes when necessary to avoid traffic delays or roadworks.
- Immediately notify the company if any traffic tickets are issued while performing work duties.
- Park the vehicle in legal and appropriate areas to avoid penalties; parking fees for trips into the city will be covered by Sagicor Finance Inc when parking is needed during duty-related travel.
- Report accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management within one hour of the incident.
- Take on any other reasonable duties assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have at least five CXC passes at the general proficiency level, including English Language and Mathematics. Prior experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.

This position sits within the Administration department and reports to the Sales & Operations Manager. The role requires maintaining a positive and professional image, supporting quality service for both internal and external customers, and handling confidential information with care.
