Job overview
This contract role is fully remote and is focused on using strong .NET expertise to help improve and train next-generation AI systems. The work centers on providing practical, real-world engineering input so models can produce better technical answers, reason more accurately, and perform more reliably. No previous AI-specific background is needed; the key requirement is solid subject-matter knowledge in .NET engineering.
Core responsibilities
- Use in-depth knowledge of .NET and C# to review technical scenarios and provide domain-specific guidance.
- Assess, refine, and improve AI-generated responses connected to .NET, C#, AWS, and Azure.
- Work remotely with a distributed expert team and contribute insights that help strengthen model quality over time.
- Create, review, and polish code examples, architecture sketches, and technical documentation used as training input.
- Offer practical guidance on scalable backend development, cloud-based integrations, and current application design patterns.
- Explain technical ideas clearly in both written and spoken form to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Spot weaknesses in model understanding and recommend fixes based on hands-on engineering experience.
Required experience and qualifications
- Strong, practical background using .NET and C# in production settings.
- Solid working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Good analytical ability and a structured approach to solving complex technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup while staying aligned with the client team.
- History of delivering reliable, maintainable backend solutions.
- Current understanding of tools, frameworks, and best practices used in the .NET ecosystem.
Preferred background
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data-oriented projects is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams on large-scale cloud applications is helpful.
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines in .NET environments is preferred.
