Role overview

Aramark Ireland is hiring a permanent Multi-skilled Technical Facilities Maintenance Technician for its Dungarvan, County Waterford site. The role reports directly to the on-site manager and suits a trade electrician with multi-skilled capability. Relevant training may be provided to the right person.

What you will do

• Carry out maintenance, repair, installation, and servicing tasks in line with Aramark and client requirements.
• Follow company procedures while operating on client premises.
• Work in full compliance with workplace practices and all applicable health and safety legislation.
• Keep company-issued tools and equipment clean, safe, presentable, and in working order.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and clearly at all times.
• Maintain a professional approach and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Source and purchase equipment or materials needed to provide fast and effective service to clients.
• Keep all professional qualifications required for the role current and valid.
• Assist the helpdesk through clear communication and a focus on efficiency.
• Prepare permits and oversee subcontractors performing work on site.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly and dispose of waste appropriately according to company procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified electrician, ideally with additional capability in mechanical systems, AC systems, or air conditioning; a senior mechanical background with solid electrical knowledge is also acceptable, though not essential.
• Proven background in multi-skilled facilities maintenance.
• Prior exposure to building management systems and control systems is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
• Must be open to occasional weekend work on an ad hoc basis.
• Valid clean driving licence is mandatory.
