About the Company
Green Line Electromechanical L.L.C. is an Abu Dhabi-based electromechanical services provider delivering projects and solutions across the UAE with a focus on quality execution.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, site-based opportunity in Abu Dhabi for an MEP QA/QC Engineer. The role centers on quality assurance and quality control across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction activities, with responsibility for planning, inspection, documentation, coordination, and handover support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection and test plans for MEP systems.
- Check that all MEP works match approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Inspect incoming materials and confirm they meet project requirements.
- Track subcontractor activities to ensure workmanship and quality standards are maintained.
- Keep QA/QC records updated and well organized, including inspection reports, material approvals, method statements, test outcomes, and non-conformance reports.
- Compile and share regular quality updates with the QA/QC Manager and project leadership.
- Work with third-party laboratories and certification agencies to arrange testing and approvals.
- Maintain calibration records for MEP testing instruments and equipment.
- Coordinate quality-related tasks with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, and authorities regarding inspections, approvals, and handover packages.
- Participate in site coordination meetings and contribute QA/QC input.
- Observe testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems and confirm they are completed to specification.
- Verify that final inspections and snag closure are finished and documented before project handover.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of construction experience in the UAE, specifically in MEP works.
- The candidate must be able to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
