Logistics Officer

Job overview

The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating outbound logistics and keeping inventory records accurate. This role involves regular interaction with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers, and other partners involved in shipping and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee outbound handling for customer orders.
• Coordinate outbound consignments, work with clearing and forwarding agents, and keep track of turnaround times.
• Prepare and manage letter of credit documentation for shipments.
• Organize transport arrangements to move shipments to their destination.
• Monitor shipment progress and share timely updates with customers.
• Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure shipments are executed smoothly.
• Liaise with clearing agents and customs authorities to improve speed and service quality.
• Review export customs paperwork and transfer-of-ownership documents.
• Track inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
• Carry out monthly stock audits.
• Coordinate with Sales Administration and credit teams for customer invoicing.
• Maintain the petty cash used for warehouse operations.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time onsite role.
