Where you'll work

직무 설명

About the role

i2C Architects is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starting and adaptable Junior Graphic Designer to join its Sydney studio. The position can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis. This is a hands-on opportunity to build experience across several design areas while contributing to a collaborative practice focused on architecture, interiors and the wider built environment.

The role involves supporting the creation of marketing, sales and brand materials on a day-to-day basis, and occasionally assisting with branded environment projects. You will work within a national design collective with studios in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, where teamwork, shared knowledge and creative impact are central to the culture.

What you'll do

  • Work with colleagues across studios to understand design needs and interpret briefs with guidance from senior designers.
  • Develop visual solutions using typography, imagery, symbols, colour and layout for brand collateral and digital assets.
  • Help deliver graphic design and branded environment projects from initial brief through to final completion, alongside architecture and interior teams.
  • Follow established brand standards to keep outputs consistent and high quality.
  • Contribute ideas during the creative process and assist with client presentations and visual materials.
  • Support the creation of large-format supergraphics, signage and wayfinding work when required.
  • Produce communication materials for print, web, display, social and digital channels.
  • Assist with bid documents and marketing collateral under senior supervision.
  • Participate in design reviews, exchange ideas with the team and build knowledge of effective design practices.
  • Help gather quotations and coordinate with suppliers and printers on production schedules and quality control.
  • Maintain accurate project records and support file archiving so work can be retrieved easily later.
  • Assist in maintaining design templates and shared libraries.
  • Stay up to date with graphic design trends and best practices through ongoing research and industry awareness.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate has experience working in a team environment and is comfortable handling a range of tasks in a positive, proactive way. You should be eager to learn, detail-oriented and ready to contribute to a supportive studio culture.

Skills and experience

  • A recent Graphic Design graduate or someone with 0 to 2 years of design experience.
  • An interest in architecture, interior design or work related to the built environment.
  • Strong working ability in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with digital and video-related tools such as WordPress.
  • Willingness and ability to pick up new software quickly when needed.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills for administrative and support tasks.
  • Ability to manage weekly workload planning and arrive prepared for resourcing discussions.
  • Good understanding of design fundamentals, including typography and layout.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A practical, solution-oriented and proactive approach to work.
  • Capacity to take initiative and balance several tasks at once.
  • A respectful, patient and team-first attitude.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for creativity and design.
  • Curiosity about current design trends and a willingness to keep learning.
