Role Overview

The Junior Front-End Developer will help create and improve responsive websites, landing pages, and digital assets for healthcare and wellness clients. The role involves close coordination with design, marketing, and project management teams, along with ongoing work on website quality, optimization, and content updates.

Front-End Development

• Create and update responsive, easy-to-use websites and landing pages for healthcare and wellness brands.
• Translate UI/UX concepts into clean, organized, and reusable front-end code.
• Produce digital elements that support marketing campaigns and client-facing websites.

Collaboration

• Partner with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver polished digital experiences.
• Support front-end enhancements that improve SEO, performance, and conversion results.

Performance and Optimization

• Improve site speed, responsiveness, and compatibility across major browsers.
• Make sure the experience works smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Apply accessibility and usability best practices during development.

CMS Management

• Update and maintain WordPress sites and other content management systems.
• Handle content updates, templates, layouts, and new page implementation as needed.

Quality Assurance

• Track down and fix front-end bugs and visual inconsistencies.
• Test websites on different devices and browsers to confirm stability and quality.

Continuous Learning

• Keep pace with current front-end tools, frameworks, and industry practices.
• Take part in code reviews and learn from experienced developers to strengthen your abilities.

Experience and Education

This position is intended for candidates with 0 to 2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance assignments, personal projects, or bootcamp training. Exposure to live websites or web applications is considered an advantage.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a closely related practical background is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Ability to build mobile-first, responsive websites.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar tools is beneficial.
• Experience with WordPress or comparable CMS platforms is preferred.
• Working understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.

Tools and Workflow

• Comfort using Git and version control processes.
• Experience working with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Basic familiarity with site performance tuning and cross-browser testing.

Soft Skills

• Careful attention to detail and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Self-driven mindset with enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
• Good organization and time-management habits.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar CSS frameworks.
• Basic awareness of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Experience in healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern development workflows.
• Fluent English is preferred, and Arabic would be a strong plus.
