Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Independent Living Services Program Manager for the San Jose/Marina branch in the Bay Area of California. This role is focused on supporting services for intellectually disabled individuals living in their own homes, not in a facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Review current service trends and build plans that improve client outcomes and long-term success.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, with regional center experience considered a strong plus.
- Work through budget reviews and business plan analysis.
- Promote a strong service culture centered on quality delivery.
- Build productive internal working relationships across the team.
- Advocate for client rights and fair treatment.
- Support healthy and effective employee relations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Keep the branch prepared for audits at all times.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has leadership experience in assisted living communities or private homes, including oversight of employees across multiple units or cities. Background in managing or owning a business is an added advantage. Experience leading supportive living or independent living services for intellectually disabled individuals is also preferred.
Applicants should have advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and prior exposure to Electronic Health Records systems.
