Position Summary

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant helps keep the facility clean, secure, and comfortable while following Trilogy standards and applicable federal and state rules.

Core Duties

• Keep resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, offices, and staff areas clean, safe, and pleasant for residents, families, and employees.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks, as well as deeper cleaning for move-ins and move-outs, and isolation-area cleaning in line with infection-control procedures.
• Make sure assigned spaces and cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are kept orderly and stored appropriately at all times, including before breaks, meals, and the end of the shift.
• When assigned laundry work, wash and dry residents’ laundry and linens, return cleaned items to the proper place, maintain laundry equipment correctly, and label residents’ laundry items as needed.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED/HSE is preferred.
