Role Overview
This position is part of the Food and Beverage & Culinary team at EDITION, based in Shura Island, Hanak, Saudi Arabia. It is a full-time, non-management role and is not remote. The job focuses on creating a dining experience that feels memorable, polished, and guest-centered.
What the Role Involves
The Guest Service Expert is expected to help shape the overall dining experience through attentive, hands-on service. Duties may include preparing tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving guests, answering guest needs, and keeping service areas and supplies clean and organized. The role is about making each transaction feel like a natural part of the guest experience.
Work Standards and Physical Demands
Success in this position also depends on maintaining a safe workplace, following company procedures, meeting quality expectations, and presenting a professional appearance and manner of communication. The work requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, including movement across slopes or slippery areas. The role also involves reading and checking menu details, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Items handled may weigh up to 25 pounds without help and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED. Less than one year of related work experience is preferred. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
