Role Overview
A healthcare employer in Riyadh is looking for a dependable and service-minded Help Desk & User Support Specialist to act as the first point of contact for technical assistance across several healthcare sites. This role centers on resolving end-user issues quickly, supporting Microsoft 365 tools, keeping IT assets and devices running smoothly, and delivering a strong customer experience to clinical and administrative teams.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the initial support contact for users through phone, email, remote tools, and in-person assistance.
- Investigate and fix problems related to hardware, software, printers, networks, and general system performance.
- Set up, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other connected equipment.
- Help users with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
- Prepare new starter workstations by installing the required hardware and software.
- Keep accurate records of IT assets and related documentation.
- Escalate advanced technical problems to senior IT personnel when needed.
- Support troubleshooting for Wi-Fi, VPN, network access, and shared resources.
- Monitor endpoint devices and assist with basic infrastructure support.
- Follow IT security policies and safe working practices.
- Record, update, and follow through on service tickets.
- Prepare and maintain technical guides and user-facing documentation.
- Work to agreed service timelines and provide courteous support to staff.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT help desk, service desk, or end-user support roles.
- Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory, printers, networking, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable working under pressure and supporting many users at once.
- Healthcare sector experience is preferred.
