Role Overview

This position is a full-time hybrid opportunity for a General Cleaner in Mabopane, Gauteng, with some flexibility to work remotely where applicable. The role centers on keeping assigned areas clean, hygienic, and safe, while supporting day-to-day upkeep and basic maintenance tasks.

Key Duties

• Clean and maintain assigned spaces to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces as part of routine cleaning.
• Monitor cleanliness and help maintain hygiene and safety expectations.
• Replenish cleaning or other necessary supplies when needed.
• Manage waste removal and disposal appropriately.
• Assist with simple maintenance-related tasks when required.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment use, and safety practices.
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to consistent cleanliness standards.
• Ability to plan work efficiently and complete tasks on time.
• Clear communication skills for working with colleagues and clients.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for long periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work reliably.
• Prior experience in cleaning or a similar environment is an advantage.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
