Role overview
This role sits within a large global logistics organization and offers the chance to work in a fast-moving, team-based environment. The position focuses on handling parcels accurately and efficiently while supporting the flow of goods through the warehouse or sorting area.
What the job involves
You will be responsible for loading, unloading, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The work may also involve operating heavy machinery when required and taking on additional duties as assigned in a busy operational setting.
Key duties
- Follow the company’s package-handling procedures carefully and consistently.
- Move parcels in and out of trailers or package vehicles.
- Carry out scanning, sorting, receiving, and stocking tasks as part of daily operations.
- Handle other assigned warehouse tasks in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Should be comfortable reading and remembering postal codes.
- Need to be available for flexible shifts, working up to 5 days per week.
- Warehouse background is preferred.
