직무 설명
Overview
This role sits at the center of a company building a foundational physics model for embedded systems. The Operations function is responsible for organizing, expanding, and activating a growing strategic network that spans defense, compute infrastructure, research institutions, advisors, and investors. The goal is to ensure every new relationship strengthens the overall value of the network.
Core Output
A living, searchable system that tracks the company’s strategic relationships, including current status and the next action for each important connection.
Primary Skill Focus
Success in this role depends on graph intelligence: the ability to spot leverage points, relationship density, alignment, and compounding opportunities across the network.
Operating Style
This is a high-trust execution role that requires discretion and judgment across technical, institutional, and investor-facing settings.
Role Purpose
The operations lead acts as the steward of the company’s strategic network. The job involves building relationship structure, keeping context organized, and improving how advisors, partners, investors, and institutional stakeholders contribute to the company’s progress.
Core Mandate
To build a strong company, the team needs a high-leverage network of aligned actors. This role is meant to increase leverage for the founder and improve the density, speed, and compounding value of that network, treating it as a living system rather than a simple contact list.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a dynamic map of strategic relationships, including each relationship’s context, incentives, influence, status, and next step.
- Grow the network deliberately so that each new connection adds more value to the overall system. Identify useful adjacency opportunities across advisors, defense programs, compute operators, and institutional stakeholders.
- Keep relationship communication steady and intentional. Detect early signals, escalate issues thoughtfully, and prevent important relationships from becoming unclear or stagnant.
- Reduce pressure on the founder by turning high-context conversations into organized follow-ups and clear forward movement.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a traditional administrative assistant role, and it is not a passive coordination job. It calls for independent judgment, strong discretion, and the ability to work across technical, institutional, and venture environments.
Success Metrics
Within 90 days, a structured and searchable map of the company’s full relationship network should be in place, every strategic relationship should have a defined status, value, and next action, engagement cadences for advisors, investors, and institutions should be systematized, and inbound interest should be routed into clear pathways rather than scattered threads.
Within 12 months, the network should become measurably denser through introductions generated by existing connections, opportunity flow should increase without a matching increase in founder overhead, advisor engagement should produce compounding outcomes such as intros, pilots, hires, distribution, and credibility, and each new relationship should clearly increase the value of the existing network. The founder should be spending more time on high-leverage strategy and decision-making.
Capabilities
The role requires the ability to operate in high-accountability environments, communicate with exceptional clarity in writing and speech, and think in systems with strong pattern recognition. Generative AI and other writing tools may be used, but communication must still feel thoughtful, discreet, and emotionally intelligent rather than obviously machine-written. Comfort working with defense, infrastructure, research, and venture ecosystems is important.
Background
There is no single academic path required. The main qualities sought are sharpness of mind, presence, versatility, and resilience. Relevant backgrounds may include technology, policy, psychology, philosophy, hardware, venture, or military experience.
