About EY and the Role

EY is seeking an External Security Vetting Analyst to support personnel security clearance work across multiple clearance tiers. The role covers Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, Negative Vetting Level 2, and Positive Vetting processes. This position may be adapted to suit flexible working arrangements, depending on business and individual needs.

The role is available in Naarm – Melbourne, Canberra – Ngambri, Tarndanya, and Warrang – Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully manage security clearance cases in line with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and EY’s internal standards.
  • Use electronic case management tools to handle vetting workflows efficiently.
  • Review complex and sensitive matters, then provide clear, data-backed guidance on clearance decisions.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks and maintain strong controls over Personal Security Files (PSFs).
  • Contact clearance subjects and conduct interviews where needed.
