직무 설명
Company Overview
SNB Farmer Producer Company Limited is a privately incorporated agri-enterprise that was set up on October 21, 2021. Its core work includes cultivating seasonal crops and supporting farm-linked services. The organization currently works with crops such as sesame, mustard, sugarcane, potato, wheat, and banana. It also operates in the sale of farm machinery and organic as well as chemical fertilizers, and it supports contract farming arrangements. The company is also preparing to move into value-added production through wooden-pressed oil and jaggery, creating a dynamic setting for long-term strategy and business growth.
Role Summary
The Executive Vice President is a part-time, remote leadership role responsible for steering strategy, business planning, and operational control across SNB’s farming and agri-processing activities. The position will help shape crop production plans, manage sales of inputs and machinery, and strengthen contract farming partnerships to support sustainable expansion and profitability. It will also play a key role in building new business lines such as wooden-pressed oil and jaggery, including market evaluation, product strategy, and readiness for operations.
Key Focus Areas
The role involves working closely with the board and senior leadership to define goals, track financial and operational performance, and drive improvement plans. It includes conducting strategic reviews, overseeing project milestones, maintaining relationships with external stakeholders such as partners, suppliers, and buyers, and ensuring that the company remains aligned with relevant rules, compliance needs, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring strong executive leadership capabilities, with experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and guiding teams. Prior exposure to agriculture, agri-business, food processing, or rural enterprise development is important, along with an understanding of crop production and supply chains. A solid background in business development, market research, and expansion planning for new offerings is also needed. Financial literacy is essential, especially in budgeting, forecasting, and reviewing organizational performance. The role also requires strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with farmers, business partners, and investors. Since this is a remote, part-time leadership assignment, the ability to work independently and stay accountable to timelines is necessary. Familiarity with contract farming, farm machinery and input markets, and basic agri-sector regulations will be considered an added advantage. A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Rural Management, or a related discipline is preferred, though substantial executive experience may be accepted in place of formal education.
Additional Information
This opportunity is designed for someone who can contribute at a senior level to a growing agri-business and help prepare the company for future verticals in production and processing.
