This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles applications and the subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking an Ecommerce Growth Manager located in the United States.
The role is centered on accelerating growth across major third-party retail marketplaces within a fast-scaling ecommerce and marketplace model. It calls for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You will take ownership of key marketplace accounts and help expand owned and licensed brands online. The position includes full P&L responsibility and oversight of marketplace launch and scale efforts from start to finish.
A major part of the job is coordinating with outside agency partners to keep content, media, and performance aligned with business goals. You will also work closely with teams across brand, product, supply chain, marketing, and operations to build efficient and profitable ecommerce programs.
This is a high-accountability position in a collaborative setting where both innovation and delivery matter.
Key accountabilities
- Take ownership of the assigned marketplace P&L, including revenue, margin, advertising investment, and contribution profit.
- Drive the rollout and growth of owned and licensed brands across leading ecommerce marketplaces.
- Create and run full marketplace launch plans covering content, pricing, advertising, and inventory planning.
- Spot, assess, and open new third-party marketplace opportunities, from first outreach through onboarding and post-launch optimization.
- Coordinate external agencies by setting KPIs, governance routines, and clear performance standards.
- Manage retail media activity, including campaign setup, optimization, and improvement of ROAS.
- Partner with Brand, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams to keep strategy and execution aligned.
- Improve assortment performance and profitability through continuous, data-led optimization.
- Track marketplace trends, competitor moves, and category performance to uncover growth opportunities.
- Strengthen execution, content quality, and conversion performance through ongoing process improvements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced ecommerce professional with deep exposure to third-party marketplaces and a solid record of delivering profitable growth.
- At least 5 years of experience in third-party marketplace environments such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Wayfair, or similar platforms.
- Direct ownership of a marketplace P&L with clear impact on revenue and profitability.
- Experience launching at least one new marketplace channel from onboarding through scale.
- Strong practical experience with retail media advertising, campaign optimization, and ROAS management.
- Ability to manage external agencies, define expectations, and hold partners accountable.
- Strong commercial and analytical thinking, with experience in pricing, margin, and performance measurement.
- Good cross-functional collaboration skills across marketing, operations, supply chain, and product teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in fast-moving environments.
- Background in home, bedding, furniture, or related categories is beneficial.
- Knowledge of licensed brand programs or vendor compliance structures is an added advantage.
