Role overview
We are looking for a motivated Display Draftsperson to join a Product Development team focused on residential documentation for display homes across Australia. This position is based at the Mount Waverley office and is suited to someone who values detail, quality, and collaboration.
What you will do
- Prepare drafting for new display homes through the development and construction stages while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Make sure all documentation aligns with building regulations and the required permits across several states.
- Handle urgent customer needs with practical solutions and a strong service mindset.
- Carry out site visits to review display home construction and produce accurate as-built drawings.
- Work closely with teams across the business to help deliver standout display homes.
- Keep up to date with project workflows and internal systems.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience as a residential draftsperson, ideally with a solid background in residential projects.
- Formal training through tertiary study or TAFE in residential drafting.
- Hands-on ability with Revit.
- Good working knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian standards.
- Ability to juggle several projects and deadlines at once.
- Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to quality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude is highly valued.
