Role Overview

Abha Surgy Centre in Kolkata is hiring a Dietician for its IVF and fertility care team. The role focuses on creating tailored nutrition strategies that support reproductive health, assist treatment outcomes, and provide patients with practical, evidence-based guidance throughout their fertility journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient’s nutritional condition and develop individualized diet plans aligned with their medical background and fertility treatment requirements.
• Provide nutrition guidance before, during, and after IVF procedures to support reproductive well-being and treatment effectiveness.
• Explain how food choices affect fertility, hormone balance, and overall health.
• Work closely with doctors, fertility experts, and other medical professionals to build integrated care plans.
• Track patient response and update meal plans based on progress and changes in treatment.
• Keep current with new studies and developments in fertility-focused nutrition and use that knowledge in patient care.
• Advise patients on suitable supplements, vitamins, and foods that may support reproductive health.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of experience in the healthcare field, ideally in a clinic or hospital environment.
• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
• Registered Dietician (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential.
• Sound understanding of the link between nutrition, reproductive health, and IVF outcomes.
• Strong communication, counselling, and people skills, along with a caring approach.
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
• Careful and detail-oriented, with the ability to customize recommendations for each patient.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site role based at Abha Surgy Centre, Kolkata, in the Greater Kolkata Area. The employer prefers candidates who can join immediately.
