About the Facility
Westbury Center of Jackson for Nursing and Healing is looking to add a Dietary Aide to its team in Jackson, GA. The organization emphasizes a family-like environment and says the same care shown to residents is extended to employees.
Role Summary
In this position, you will prepare meals for patients and older adults while supporting their individual nutrition needs. The work also includes food delivery, kitchen support, and helping keep the food service area clean and sanitary.
Key Duties
- Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages according to established procedures.
- Serve food while consistently following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor kitchen stock and food inventory.
- Follow facility-specific procedures and state rules and regulations.
- Set up and clear dining spaces, and assist with kitchen upkeep and routine cleaning.
- Support nutrition education initiatives.
- Work with chefs, dietitians, and doctors on menu planning.
- Keep track of expenses.
