About the Role
This position is for someone who wants to help create dependable data foundations for advanced Data & AI initiatives. As a Data Engineer, you will develop and fine-tune data pipelines and architectures that support models and analytics with reliable, high-value insights. The role contributes directly to innovation in digital healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve data pipelines and overall data architecture so they scale effectively.
- Create cloud-based data solutions using Azure, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and related big data tools.
- Develop and support DBT models while working with business areas such as finance, e-commerce, pharma, and supply chain.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to deliver practical, data-led solutions.
- Use CI/CD methods and keep enhancing system speed, scalability, and security.
- Help strengthen the data culture by sharing knowledge and learning continuously.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering and data management.
- Practical experience with Azure or another public cloud platform, including scalable pipeline development and data quality management.
- Strong command of DBT and SQL for modelling and analysis.
- Good working knowledge of Databricks, including Spark and Unity Catalog.
- Ability to code in at least one language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Awareness of business domains, ideally including e-commerce.
- Interest in working in a fast-moving, innovative setting and improving cloud-native distributed systems.
