Data Business Analyst - 6 month fixed-term

Role overview

This is a six-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of being renewed for a longer period. You will be part of a complex business environment, helping strengthen the way data is defined, maintained, and used across the organisation so that teams can depend on it with confidence.

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to uncover requirements and shape business rules and data standards.
• Support efforts to improve data consistency, quality, governance, and overall usability.
• Identify opportunities for better data practices and recommend practical improvements.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery.
• Communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

What the role calls for

• Background as a Business Analyst with solid data-related experience, or as a Data Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
• Experience eliciting and analysing requirements.
• Ability to define business rules and data standards collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, particularly in complex or large-scale environments.
• Confident communication across varied audiences.
